Hello everyone. This is my first post. I´m having problems updating the G7X Mark III Firmware. I´ve never done a firmware update on this particular camera, so it´s running on Ver 1.0.1 . I downloaded the firmware, extracted the file, copied it to the root on a freshly formatted SD card (did the formatting on the camera itself).

The file for the camera is the same regardless of the OS you select (windows or MAC). 5D300136.FIR is the file you need. I can not find the latest firmware to update my 5D Mark III. I've been on the Canon site, have been to downloads for my camera

Ive seen a few site locations where they offer the 1.1.1 firmware update. Wasnt sure if anyone has had any success with a particular site or if it might not be worth the risk.
