Starbucks has capsules that are developed with Nespresso which work perfectly with the Nespresso Vertuo system. The capsules are 10 in a box and contain Espresso Roast dark roast coffee. The espresso capsules can each brew a 1.35 fluid ounce of espresso that is flavorful and bold with caramelized sugar notes.
Nespresso intends to add the entire range of Vertuo capsules to the range by early 2022. Nespresso has a dedicated pod recycling program in place in various parts of the world. You only need a free recycling bag, which you can use for Nespresso pod recycling. A total of 122,287 collection points are currently located in over 100 countries.
Nespresso's recycling system is well-documented but you'd need to choose your sources carefully to support your preconceptions. If you're not going to believe Nespresso's own claims, you cannot believe anything about their relationships with their Nicaragua famers either. Compostable capsules do not generally actually decompose for consumers.

Nespresso has given mixed messages on this. Some CRs have said they only take back their own branded pods + Starbucks. Other CRs have said they will accept any compatible pod as long as it’s aluminum. Personally I do the latter, as aluminum is aluminum after all. That said, some other pod producers have their own recycling programs as well. Starbucks and Nespresso partnered to make Nespresso pods. This means that using Starbucks pods won’t void the warranty. Be sure to use the correct pods for your Nespresso machine. Starbucks Vertuo pods will not work in an Original machine.
